The job we are called for most here is balcony safety nets and children safety nets on upper-floor openings. Artificial grass is laid from ₹43 per sq.ft; 15mm astro turf from ₹45.80 per sq.ft. Local site conditions we plan for in Somangalam
Industrial sheds and taller new blocks need wire-rope grids at one-metre centres so long spans stay tight without sag. That decision is made on site, not in the office, because the frame material and working height change the hardware more than the netting itself.
Buildings and openings we cover
- Balconies, windows, French windows and grill-front openings
- Duct shafts, light wells, stilt parking and lift-lobby gaps
- Terraces, parapets, staircase voids and open atriums
- Schools, hostels, factories, warehouses and sports grounds

How a artificial grass and astro turf laying job runs in Somangalam
1. Free measurement and written quote
A technician measures every opening in feet, checks the frame, and gives you a per-sq.ft rate in writing before any drilling starts.
2. Fabrication and fixing
Netting is cut and rope-bordered to your exact size, anchors go in at 12–15 inch intervals, and stainless steel wire rope is tensioned across the opening before the net is laced on.
Materials used on Somangalam sites
UV-stabilised HDPE and braided nylon netting, SS 304/316 hooks and eye bolts, 2.5–3mm stainless wire rope, turnbuckles for re-tensioning, and UV-resistant lacing thread.
Warranty and after-service
Every installation carries a written warranty on netting and hardware, with on-call re-tightening and repair visits in Somangalam.

Artificial grass in Somangalam — frequently asked questions
What is the artificial grass price in Somangalam?
Artificial grass in Somangalam is laid from ₹43 per sq.ft for 30mm lawn turf up to ₹120 per sq.ft for premium 50mm landscape grass, and 15mm astro turf starts at ₹45.80 per sq.ft. Areas above 300 sq.ft in Somangalam, Kanchipuram get our best rate.
Can artificial grass be laid on a Somangalam balcony or terrace?
Yes. On balconies and terraces in Somangalam we lay the turf over a levelled, waterproof surface with perforated backing so rain drains through. No drilling into the slab is needed — edges are fixed with adhesive and trim.
How long does artificial grass last in Chennai weather?
Our turf is UV stabilised for direct Chennai sun and typically stays good for 7–10 years with a weekly brush and an occasional rinse. Colour fade is the first thing to show, not pile collapse.
Do you lay grass for offices, play areas and courts in Somangalam?
We lay lawn turf for homes, offices, cafes and event spaces, soft-pile turf for school and creche play areas, and 15mm astro turf for courts and gyms across Somangalam — all with joint taping and a written warranty.
