Vijayawada sits inland on the Krishna delta, so SS 304 is usually enough for balconies that do not face open water. Choose SS 316 where the balcony gets heavy monsoon rain or the building is high-rise with strong wind pressure on the cables.

These are material-and-fixing estimates at the published rates. The exact figure is confirmed after measurement, because cable spacing and track length change with the opening.
Where Vijayawada homes fit invisible grills
- Balcony openings in apartments at Benz Circle, Moghalrajpuram, Patamata and Kanuru where children play.
- Bedroom and kitchen windows in older Central Vijayawada buildings with narrow ledges.
- Full-height sit-outs and villa terraces in the southern and western suburbs.
- Duct-side openings where a pigeon net alone would not stop a child from leaning out.
- Shops and clinics with open frontages that need protection without a solid grille.
