Safety net installation in Athipet — FAQs
What is the balcony safety net price in Athipet?
In Athipet, balcony safety nets are installed from ₹35 per sq.ft including material, rust-proof hooks and labour. Children safety nets, cat nets and staircase safety nets are quoted per sq.ft after a free site measurement — you pay only for the actual installed area, with a written quote before work starts.
Do you install child and cat safety nets on high-rise apartments in Athipet?
Yes. Our trained crew handles high-rise balconies, windows, terraces and stairwells in Athipet with proper safety gear. The child-proof and cat proof mesh is fixed edge to edge with no gaps at floor or ceiling line, and tensioned to take the impact of a falling child or a jumping cat.
How soon can you install a safety net in Athipet?
Our installation teams cover Athipet regularly. After you call or WhatsApp us, we schedule a free measurement — usually the same or next day in Chennai and within a few days in other cities — and most balcony or staircase installations in Athipet are completed within 1–3 hours once measurements are confirmed.
Will the safety net block light, air or the view from my Athipet home?
No. The UV-stabilised knotted mesh allows air and daylight to pass freely and is nearly invisible from a distance. Your Athipet balcony stays open and airy while children, cats and pets stay safe — and the net needs only an occasional rinse to stay clean.

Balcony safety net installation in Athipet — what we install, how we price it and when we can come
Dedicated installation teams across Chennai localities and every major city in Tamil Nadu & Andhra Pradesh. In Athipet, Chennai we work mainly on older independent houses, 4–8 floor apartment blocks and new township towers. The job we are called for most here is bird netting and pigeon spikes on parapets, sunshades and signage. Balcony nets start at ₹35 per sq.ft. Every quote follows a free site measurement — nothing is estimated over the phone.
Local site conditions we plan for in Athipet
Many frames are brick and plaster, so through-bolts with load plates are used to keep the net tight for years. That decision is made on site, not in the office, because the frame material and working height change the hardware more than the netting itself.
Buildings and openings we cover
- Balconies, windows, French windows and grill-front openings
- Duct shafts, light wells, stilt parking and lift-lobby gaps
- Terraces, parapets, staircase voids and open atriums
- Schools, hostels, factories, warehouses and sports grounds
Athipet neighbourhoods and nearby stretches we reach
Ambattur, Ambattur Industrial Estate, Padi and the surrounding streets. A single west-Chennai crew covers this belt, so neighbouring streets are usually scheduled on the same day.
How a balcony safety net installation job runs in Athipet
1. Free measurement and written quote
A technician measures every opening in feet, checks the frame, and gives you a per-sq.ft rate in writing before any drilling starts.
2. Fabrication and fixing
Netting is cut and rope-bordered to your exact size, anchors go in at 12–15 inch intervals, and stainless steel wire rope is tensioned across the opening before the net is laced on.
Materials used on Athipet sites
UV-stabilised HDPE and braided nylon netting, SS 304/316 hooks and eye bolts, 2.5–3mm stainless wire rope, turnbuckles for re-tensioning, and UV-resistant lacing thread.
Warranty and after-service
Every installation carries a written warranty on netting and hardware, with on-call re-tightening and repair visits in Athipet.
