Invisible grills OMR — frequently asked questions
What is the Garware invisible grill price in OMR?
Invisible grills fitted by our Garware nets team in OMR, Chennai cost ₹120 – ₹350 per sq.ft installed. SS 304 starts at ₹120/sq.ft, marine-grade SS 316 is ₹180 – ₹260/sq.ft and premium 3 mm SS 316 with heavy track goes up to ₹350/sq.ft. The final rate is confirmed in writing after a free measurement.
Do you install invisible grills in OMR as a Garware dealer?
Yes. We are a Garware bird, safety and sports net dealer in Chennai, and the same in-house crew installs invisible grills across OMR, Chennai. That means one point of contact if you want a Garware net in one opening and an invisible grill in another.
Which cable grade should I choose in OMR?
For sea-facing and humid parts of OMR, Chennai we recommend 2.5 mm marine-grade SS 316 nylon-coated cable with a 10 year warranty. SS 304 is fine for inland flats and lower budgets. Wide or full-height openings do better with 3 mm SS 316.
How long does an invisible grill installation take in OMR?
A standard balcony in OMR is finished in 3 – 5 hours and a full flat with 3 – 4 openings in a single day. Site visits in OMR, Chennai are usually arranged within 24 hours, 8 AM – 8 PM all days.
Is an invisible grill child safe and pet safe?
Yes. Cables run at 3 inch spacing from floor to ceiling with no horizontal footholds, so children cannot climb or squeeze through and cats or dogs stay inside. Each cable is tensioned and load-checked before handover.
Does the invisible grill damage the balcony or need drilling into glass?
No. The aluminium track is anchored to the slab, parapet or side wall — never to the glass. There is no welding and no wet masonry work, so OMR apartments and rented flats stay intact.
Can I get an invisible grill and Garware safety net quotation together in OMR?
Yes — send your OMR address on WhatsApp and we will quote invisible grills per sq.ft along with Garware bird or safety netting per kg in one estimate.

Garware invisible grill installation in OMR — what we install, how we price it and when we can come
Dedicated installation teams across Chennai localities and every major city in Tamil Nadu & Andhra Pradesh. In OMR, Chennai we work mainly on apartment towers, tech parks, hostels and co-living blocks along the IT corridor. The job we are called for most here is duct area nets, terrace nets and hostel corridor netting. Garware invisible grills are ₹120–₹350 per sq.ft. Every quote follows a free site measurement — nothing is estimated over the phone.
Local site conditions we plan for in OMR
Commercial buildings need work outside office hours, so we quote night and holiday shifts. That decision is made on site, not in the office, because the frame material and working height change the hardware more than the netting itself.
Buildings and openings we cover
- Balconies, windows, French windows and grill-front openings
- Duct shafts, light wells, stilt parking and lift-lobby gaps
- Terraces, parapets, staircase voids and open atriums
- Schools, hostels, factories, warehouses and sports grounds
OMR neighbourhoods and nearby stretches we reach
Perungudi, Thoraipakkam, Navalur, Siruseri and the surrounding streets. Our vans cover the full Perungudi-to-Siruseri stretch daily.
How a garware invisible grill installation job runs in OMR
1. Free measurement and written quote
A technician measures every opening in feet, checks the frame, and gives you a per-sq.ft rate in writing before any drilling starts.
2. Fabrication and fixing
Netting is cut and rope-bordered to your exact size, anchors go in at 12–15 inch intervals, and stainless steel wire rope is tensioned across the opening before the net is laced on.
Materials used on OMR sites
UV-stabilised HDPE and braided nylon netting, SS 304/316 hooks and eye bolts, 2.5–3mm stainless wire rope, turnbuckles for re-tensioning, and UV-resistant lacing thread.
