Pigeon net installation in Ayappakkam — FAQs
What is the pigeon net installation price in Ayappakkam?
In Ayappakkam, our standard 40mm anti-pigeon balcony net is ₹28 per sq.ft installed, and heavy-duty duct-area bird netting starts at ₹18 per sq.ft. Every Ayappakkam job starts with a free site measurement and a written quote — you pay only for the actual installed area.
How soon can you install a pigeon net in Ayappakkam?
Our installation teams cover Ayappakkam regularly. After you call or WhatsApp us, we schedule a free measurement — usually the same or next day in Chennai and within a few days in other cities — and most standard balconies in Ayappakkam are completed within 1–3 hours once measurements are confirmed.
Do you install pigeon nets on high-rise apartments in Ayappakkam?
Yes. Our trained crew handles high-rise external facades, duct areas and open terraces in Ayappakkam with proper safety gear, ladders and rope access. All fixing is edge-to-edge with rust-proof hooks so no gaps remain for birds.
Will the pigeon net block light, air or my view in Ayappakkam?
No. The 40mm UV-stabilised mesh allows air and daylight to pass freely and is nearly invisible from a distance — important for Ayappakkam's apartment balconies. Pigeons, crows and other birds are kept out while your balcony stays open and airy.

Pigeon net installation in Ayappakkam — what we install, how we price it and when we can come
Dedicated installation teams across Chennai localities and every major city in Tamil Nadu & Andhra Pradesh. In Ayappakkam, Chennai we work mainly on older independent houses, 4–8 floor apartment blocks and new township towers. The job we are called for most here is children and cat safety nets in homes with toddlers and pets. Pigeon and bird nets start at ₹28 per sq.ft. Every quote follows a free site measurement — nothing is estimated over the phone.
Local site conditions we plan for in Ayappakkam
Many frames are brick and plaster, so through-bolts with load plates are used to keep the net tight for years. That decision is made on site, not in the office, because the frame material and working height change the hardware more than the netting itself.
Buildings and openings we cover
- Balconies, windows, French windows and grill-front openings
- Duct shafts, light wells, stilt parking and lift-lobby gaps
- Terraces, parapets, staircase voids and open atriums
- Schools, hostels, factories, warehouses and sports grounds
Ayappakkam neighbourhoods and nearby stretches we reach
Ambattur, Thiruverkadu, Anna Nagar West Extension and the surrounding streets. A single west-Chennai crew covers this belt, so neighbouring streets are usually scheduled on the same day.
How a pigeon net installation job runs in Ayappakkam
1. Free measurement and written quote
A technician measures every opening in feet, checks the frame, and gives you a per-sq.ft rate in writing before any drilling starts.
2. Fabrication and fixing
Netting is cut and rope-bordered to your exact size, anchors go in at 12–15 inch intervals, and stainless steel wire rope is tensioned across the opening before the net is laced on.

UV-stabilised HDPE and braided nylon netting, SS 304/316 hooks and eye bolts, 2.5–3mm stainless wire rope, turnbuckles for re-tensioning, and UV-resistant lacing thread.
