Frequently asked questions — swimming pool nets Virugambakkam
Can a child walk on a pool safety net?
The 4 mm knotted cover is built to hold a child's weight and prevent submersion. It is a safety barrier, not a play surface — it should still be used along with adult supervision.
Do you drill into the pool deck?
Yes, small stainless anchors are set into the coping. When the net is off, brass caps sit flush with the deck and are barely visible.
How quickly can it be removed?
Two people can unhook and roll a standard residential pool cover in around five minutes.
What does a pool safety net cost?
Installed covers start at ₹45/- per sq.ft of pool area. A leaf-only net is from ₹28/- per sq.ft.

Swimming Pool Nets installation in Virugambakkam — what we install, how we price it and when we can come
Dedicated installation teams across Chennai localities and every major city in Tamil Nadu & Andhra Pradesh. In Virugambakkam, Chennai we work mainly on older independent houses, 4–8 floor apartment blocks and new township towers. The job we are called for most here is children and cat safety nets in homes with toddlers and pets. Every quote follows a free site measurement — nothing is estimated over the phone.
Local site conditions we plan for in Virugambakkam
Many frames are brick and plaster, so through-bolts with load plates are used to keep the net tight for years. That decision is made on site, not in the office, because the frame material and working height change the hardware more than the netting itself.
Buildings and openings we cover
- Balconies, windows, French windows and grill-front openings
- Duct shafts, light wells, stilt parking and lift-lobby gaps
- Terraces, parapets, staircase voids and open atriums
- Schools, hostels, factories, warehouses and sports grounds
Virugambakkam neighbourhoods and nearby stretches we reach
Avichi School, Arcot Road, Saligramam and the surrounding streets. A single west-Chennai crew covers this belt, so neighbouring streets are usually scheduled on the same day.
How a swimming Pool Nets installation job runs in Virugambakkam
1. Free measurement and written quote
A technician measures every opening in feet, checks the frame, and gives you a per-sq.ft rate in writing before any drilling starts.
2. Fabrication and fixing
Netting is cut and rope-bordered to your exact size, anchors go in at 12–15 inch intervals, and stainless steel wire rope is tensioned across the opening before the net is laced on.
Materials used on Virugambakkam sites
UV-stabilised HDPE and braided nylon netting, SS 304/316 hooks and eye bolts, 2.5–3mm stainless wire rope, turnbuckles for re-tensioning, and UV-resistant lacing thread.
Warranty and after-service
Every installation carries a written warranty on netting and hardware, with on-call re-tightening and repair visits in Virugambakkam.
