Side, roof and perimeter nets for your turf
A turf enclosure is more than a goal net. Side panels contain shots along the boundary; roof netting helps contain lofted balls; entrance panels and corner joins close the gaps around the playing area. YPL supplies custom net panels, border ropes and wire-rope-supported netting for new grounds and existing arenas.

Fine-mesh side and roof panels for enclosed cricket grounds. Share your ball type and playing layout so the net specification matches practice and match use.
Football and futsal turf nets
Perimeter and roof netting for football arenas, plus separate nets sized to your goal frames. Goal nets and boundary panels serve different purposes and are quoted separately.

Choosing turf net material and mesh
Our sports net range includes knotted nylon and HDPE options. The sport, ball size, usage and support arrangement matter as much as cord thickness. A mixed-use cricket and football turf must be assessed for both sports; a football-only mesh should not be assumed suitable for a cricket ball.

Turf net price — ₹6–₹16/sq.ft
Our owner-confirmed turf net rate is ₹6–₹16/sq.ft for 1.5mm–2.5mm thickness. Ask for the exact rate for your chosen net specification and measured panel area. Side and roof panels are separate net surfaces; the playing-ground area alone does not describe the full enclosure.
This range does not confirm an all-inclusive installation package. Fitting for re-netting an existing turf is charged separately at ₹3–₹6/sq.ft; a new enclosure's installation is quoted separately again after site assessment. Border ropes, poles, wire rope, transport and GST are included only when your written quote lists them. Individual thickness prices and fixed package totals are not yet listed.
Turf net material is supplied in Garware, Tufropes, Cortland International. Tell us the brand and grade you want, and we name it in writing along with the measured panel areas.
For comparison, the separate 2mm–5mm heavy sports net material band remains ₹450–₹550 per kg. Do not apply the kilogram rate to the square-foot range.
Ask for a quote that identifies the net grade, panel dimensions, border rope, poles or existing frame, wire rope and labour. Artificial grass and ground preparation are separate items unless your quote specifically includes them.

From measurement to fitting and upkeep
1. Share the site
Send the measurements, sport and photographs. Our team discusses the panel layout, access and existing supports before finalising the specification.
2. Confirm the scope
Review the written quote for materials, net panels and fitting. New frames or rooftop anchors need site assessment; completion dates depend on the agreed work.
3. Check and maintain
Inspect joins, entrances and tension after fitting. Check regularly for tears, worn ties and loose supports, and arrange repairs before damaged areas are used again.
Sports ball-containment nets are not certified fall-arrest nets. Do not use them as a replacement for rooftop railings, personnel fall protection or structural checks.

What are turf nets used for?
Turf nets enclose a playing area with side, perimeter and, where needed, roof panels. They help contain balls in box cricket and football arenas. They are separate from the artificial grass laid on the ground.
What is the price of turf nets in Chennai?

Can the same net be used for cricket and football?
A shared arena needs netting selected for the smaller ball and the expected impact. Cricket requires finer mesh than football. Tell us whether you use a tennis ball or leather ball, and whether both sports use the enclosure, before ordering.
Do you replace damaged turf nets?
Yes. YPL offers turf re-netting and repairs. Send photographs of tears, loose edges, roof panels and the existing supports so our team can discuss whether a panel repair or replacement is appropriate.
Do turf nets have a warranty?
YPL sports nets have a 5-year warranty, and a warranty certificate is available. Ask for the certificate and the written scope of your net supply and installation quote.
Can you fit nets on a rooftop turf?
Share the rooftop dimensions, access details and photographs for assessment. The existing structure and anchor points need checking before installation. Ball-containment netting is not a substitute for fall protection or structural approval.
